Privacy Policy

How we handle your information.

EnlightEdge Pty Ltd respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, where it lives, who sees it, and the rights you have.

๐Ÿงพ The short version

๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ Our data-sovereignty commitment

Everything EnlightEdge directly holds and controls โ€” your interest-form submission, correspondence, internal notes, and training-progress records โ€” is stored exclusively on Australian infrastructure (AWS ap-southeast-2 Sydney and/or Google Cloud australia-southeast1 Sydney). This data never leaves Australia.

Administering the Claude Partner Network requires disclosing a narrow set of your information to Anthropic and to Skilljar (Anthropic's learning platform), both located in the United States. This covers only what's needed to enrol you in Anthropic Academy courses, match you to our partner allocation, and record your course completions. Section 6 lists every overseas recipient, the exact data shared, and the purpose. You consent to these specific disclosures when you submit the interest form.

01Who we are

In this policy, "EnlightEdge", "we", "us" and "our" refer to EnlightEdge Pty Ltd, an Australian proprietary limited company. We are an enterprise AI consulting firm based in Australia and a member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network (membership in the approval stage at time of writing).

EnlightEdge is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We aim to handle your personal information openly, lawfully, and proportionately โ€” collecting only what we genuinely need.

02What we collect and why

This section lists every category of personal information we collect, the specific fields involved, and the purpose for each. If a field isn't listed here, we don't collect it.

Category Specific fields Why we collect it
Identity and contact First name, last name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn URL (optional), preferred @enlightedge.com handle (optional) To know who you are, communicate with you, and provision your @enlightedge.com email if you proceed to the training stage.
Location City, country of residence To confirm jurisdictional fit for the partner track. We do not collect full residential address.
Professional Current role, current employer (optional), years of experience, prior Claude / LLM experience To understand your background and match you appropriately to cohort activities and โ€” if you opt in โ€” to production projects.
Track preferences Track choice (Standard / Self-Paced), optional free-text note, contribution decision (yes / no), optional capacity areas, optional hours-per-week availability To plan the cohort timeline and project allocation.
Declarations Three tick-box acknowledgements: working arrangement, submission integrity, privacy consent To record that you've read and agreed to the key terms of participation and this privacy policy.
Training progress Completion status of each of the four CPN courses on Anthropic Academy / Skilljar To track cohort readiness for the 10-person submission to Anthropic. We see whether you've completed a course, not your scores or answers.
Correspondence Emails, notes from onboarding or training check-ins To administer your enrolment and respond to questions.
Technical IP address and user-agent logged at form submission only, held with the submission record Fraud and abuse prevention, security auditing. We don't run general web analytics on the interest page (see ยง10).

What we do NOT collect

To be explicit: we do not collect photo ID, date of birth, residential street address, right-to-work status, biometric identifiers, health information, genetic data, criminal-record information, or any other category of "sensitive information" as defined in the Privacy Act. We do not collect your bank or tax details at this stage. Those may arise only if you later take on a paid engagement with EnlightEdge, at which point we would handle them under a separate agreement with its own disclosures.

03How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you:

Where reasonable and practicable, we collect information directly from you rather than from third parties. If we ever need to collect information about you from someone else (for example, a reference you nominate), we'll only do so with your knowledge and consent.

04Where it's stored

We handle two categories of data differently, because they live in different places.

4.1 Data EnlightEdge directly holds

This covers your interest-form submission, email correspondence, internal notes, training-progress records, and any project records we build once you're active. All of this stays in Australia:

4.2 Data shared with Anthropic and Skilljar

Administering the Claude Partner Network requires passing a narrow set of your details to Anthropic (US) and Skilljar (US, Anthropic's learning platform). This is structural to how the Partner Network operates โ€” we can't deliver the training without it. Section 6 lists exactly what's shared.

05How long we keep it

06Disclosure to third parties

Under Australian Privacy Principle 8 (cross-border disclosure), we must tell you before your personal information is disclosed to a recipient outside Australia. We take that obligation seriously. Here's the full picture.

6.1 Overseas disclosures

Recipient Location Data disclosed Purpose
Anthropic PBC United States Name, @enlightedge.com email, role/title, course-completion status. If you later sit CCA-F: exam registration and result. Partner allocation tracking, matching your course completions to EnlightEdge's domain, Partner Portal access, Services Partner Directory administration.
Skilljar (Anthropic Academy learning platform) United States Name, @enlightedge.com email, course enrolments, completion status, time spent. Hosting and delivery of Anthropic Academy courses. Governed by Skilljar's privacy policy.
CCA-F exam proctor (Anthropic's nominated vendor) Disclosed by Anthropic at exam registration Applies only if you individually choose to sit CCA-F. Identity verification data and exam-session footage, collected by the proctor directly at your direction. EnlightEdge does not receive this data. Integrity of the proctored exam. You interact with the proctor directly.
Clients Australia or overseas, depending on the client Applies only if you opt into contribution and we place you on a client project. Your professional profile โ€” name, role, relevant experience. We disclose only what the client reasonably needs. Project staffing.

What doesn't leave Australia: your phone number, city, country, LinkedIn URL, employer, years of experience, track preferences, declarations, and any correspondence with us. These stay with EnlightEdge in Australia, as described in Section 4.1.

Your consent. By submitting the interest form and ticking the privacy-consent declaration, you acknowledge and consent to the overseas disclosures listed above, to the extent each is necessary to deliver the partner track. If you don't consent to a particular disclosure, tell us before submitting โ€” we'll let you know whether the track can proceed without it. Note that Skilljar hosting is intrinsic to Anthropic's training platform; you can't take the CPN courses without that disclosure.

APP 8 reasonable steps. Where we disclose your information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the APPs. This includes reviewing the published privacy commitments of Anthropic (anthropic.com/legal/privacy) and Skilljar (skilljar.com/privacy), and relying on the contractual terms of the Claude Partner Network agreement. If an overseas recipient mishandles your data, you retain the right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (see Section 13).

6.2 Australian-based disclosures

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your personal information to train AI models โ€” ours or anyone else's.

07Who can access it within EnlightEdge

Access to your personal information is limited on a need-to-know basis. At our current size, that means:

As the firm grows, we'll formalise access roles further (and update this policy). If you want to know exactly who has accessed your records, you can request an access log at any time (see Section 9).

08How we secure it

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure, including:

While we take these steps in good faith, no method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure. We continuously improve our posture as threats evolve, and will notify you promptly if anything affects your data (see Section 11).

09Your rights

Under the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@enlightedge.com. We respond to access and correction requests within 30 days, usually within 5 business days.

10Cookies and web analytics

Our public site uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics โ€” aggregated only, no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies, no third-party marketing pixels.

Our Claude Certification Track interest page (enlightedge.com/claude-certification-track.html) has no analytics. It's a private, invitation-only page and we don't track visits. The only technical information we hold about your interaction with it is the IP address and user-agent captured at the moment you submit the form, which we keep with your submission record for security and audit purposes.

11Data breach response

Despite our safeguards, if a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we'll follow the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act:

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. When we make material changes โ€” for example, new overseas recipients, a change in storage region, or a new category of data we collect โ€” we'll update the "Last updated" date above and email active partner-track members. The latest version is always available at this URL. If you don't accept a change, you can withdraw from the partner track and request deletion of your data.

Version history: v1.0 (18 April 2026) โ€” initial policy. v2.0 (20 April 2026) โ€” removed photo-ID collection and vault provisions; aligned scope to what the interest form actually collects; simplified storage and access sections.

13Contact and complaints
